After 90 days of laborious construction, the House of Prayer in Masville, Sucat Parañaque just held its Church Dedication last December 16, 2008. Church locals and Korean sponsors had joined together in this momentous celebration.
The event started with a ribbon cutting led by the Korean Sponsors from Kwang Ju Sung Do Church spearheaded by Rev. Park Dong Yup. The heartwarming welcome remark given by Ptr. Loribel Adeser, the local pastor of CSAFMI- Sucat, set the mood in giving back honor and glory to God through praise and worship which paved the way for the preaching of God’s Word. Rev. Arnold Requierro, senior pastor of CSAFMI, shared about the importance of building a sanctuary for God’s ministry. He also led the giving of certificates to the Korean Sponsors namely Rev. Park Dong Yup, Elder Kim Pung Ern, Elder Kim Hyun Sik, Sister Choi Ok Re, Missionary Kim Chung Keun, and wife Missionary Lee Eun Mi to show CSAFMI’s appreciation to their generous sharing of the blessings that God has showered to them. Language barriers can’t keep these high-spirited Koreans from imparting their lives to the attendees inside the newly-constructed sanctuary as each one of them stood in front for a brief word of encouragement. After the prayer of dedication that was led by Rev. Arnold Requierro, Pastor Sam Bontilao, asst. Senior Pastor – CSAFMI, closed the program with some concluding words of praise to God before pronouncing blessing to everyone in the congregation. A showcase of talents from the Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry and the Women’s Ministry added zest to the blissful celebration.
A sumptuous lunch followed the successful celebration. It was coupled by some gift-giving for the attendees as a way of saying thank you for gracing this important event in the history of CSAFMI. Everybody went home blest and expectant of the many changes that the Lord has in-store for the ministry. Below is a clip of what has transpired that fateful day.
