Little Vessels For The LORD
Posted by CSAFMI | 8:54 AM | BICUTAN, Children's Ministry | 0 comments »
The Children’s Ministry of CSAFMI starts taking ground as the children actively participated in the Sunday School Service. It is not only the grown-up Christians who needs to be equipped and prepared for God’s work. The preparing and equipping should start from this young minds, bodies and hearts. We believe that implanting the seed of Christianity among these children will yield much growth and fruits in the near future. For some scholars says that the very foundation of each man’s life rest on his childhood.Believing that from these children future shepherds and workers of CSAFMI will emerge, it seems proper that they be trained even at such a tender age. It is very important for children to be well founded with the Word of Truth so that they will certainly grow up living with this truth. As proverbs 22:6 says, “train up a child in the way he should go so that when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
The Sunday School Session includes bible story reading, games, memory verse
We are looking forward for the best possible result of this endeavor. It may take some hard times and some more years to be visible because preparing vessels fit for the LORD are not that easy. Let us help our children in as they make themselves clean vessels worthy of use for God’s glory.

For the past two years God's hand has been reaching out the people of Marikina through His work in CSAFMI. The Bible Study in Marikina has started last October 2006 under the nurturing hand of Pastor Samuelson Requierro. Now, three out of the Bible Study attendees has decided to be part of God's Kingdom through CSAFMI.
" The Bible Study attendees in Marikina were very much eager to grow in their spiritual life. This really inspires us more to continue God's work inspite of the difficulties and struggles that we are facing as we bear the heavy traffic of going there. It is such a challenge for me to know that inside the busy and modernize place like Marikina are souls that longs for the Word of God." says Sis. Connie Rito, who is currently handling the Bible Studies held in Marikina under the supervision of Ptr. Samuelson Requierro.
Today, there are two on-going Bible Studies in Marikina. Mrs. Leonor Tubalinal has opened her home in Philstress Concepcion every Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm for God's Word and the De Asis family also shared theirs at Crystal Street every Sunday at 6:00pm.

STANDING STRONG Amidst The Challenges

Sickness, poverty, addiction, robbery - name it! And Bicutan have it. Everything around the vicinity of the House Of Prayer in Bicutan, Taguig could make the commitment of God's people for His work suffer. The present environment situation could change the perspective even of the "strongest" believer. But amidst of it all, we are still STANDING STRONG! Our commitment to establish a Christian Community in Bicutan was based on the God-given mission of CSAFMI. Nothing - not even death - can hinder us from bringing it into its fulfillment.Worship services were still held regularly every Sunday around 9:00 in the morning. Bible Studies and Prayer Meetings were also conducted once every week. Every member was also encouraged not just to read the Scriptures everyday but to also have a written account of God’s faithfulness in their lives.
In line with this, we are “working” hard in helping the members grow spiritually mature. Our desire to establish more Bible studies has been answered by God when He gave us the opportunity to start sharing His Word to the youth last November 11, 2007, thus, marking the birth of the Youth Ministry here in Bicutan. It was such a joy to see these young high school students to come together in faith and be used by the Lord in His vineyard. By God’s grace, we are looking forward in seeing these young people as the leaders of CSAFMI in the near future as they allow themselves to be continually use by God in His own special ways.
We are also in the process of opening Bible Studies for the Men’s and Women’s Ministry as well. With the help of God, we hope to see His flock here in CSAFMI – Bicutan, fully committed to the ministry. The battle may be tough but our God is tougher. We will work together. We will continue to walk by faith and depend in God's power as we stand strong amidst the challenges.
